Appearance

An all brown tom with long fur that is always covered in herbs and orange eyes. A Maine Coon mixed breed with undeniable tufts pointing up from the ears. There are some slightly distinguishable dark brown swirl markings on either side of his flank and many dark brown markings appearing subtly all over his body. He is of a larger build with a fluffy, trunk-like tail and hefty paws.

Backstory

Antlerstar found Cloverwood nestled in a hollowed out tree surrounded by clovers when he was a mere 5 moons old. Antlerstar recognized the scent of coffee on the kit, knowing with heartache that the kit was dumped recently by twolegs. Despite his abandonment, little Cloverwood lead his pawsteps with an instinctual stride, self-learning the herbs and forest around him with ease. He was never meant to be a kittypet; he was ever-destined to be a wise herbalist taking home amidst the wood. His acclimation to Rabbit Clan was seamless and without discomfort; the cats of the Clan adore him and he, in turn, adores his Clan.

Personality

Cloverwood is a great-passion of a cat. His empathy and soul could move mountains. The generosity that extends through his paws is a sight to behold. He is an avid medicine cat and his being revolves around it; he is perhaps dedicated to the point of obsession at times. He is an old soul and feels much older than he truly is. Cloverwood is a warm, paternally inclined tom who will both fiercely protect you while telling you exactly how it is pragmatically. He is the easiest tom in the world to talk to and can be quite silly and humorous if he's comfortable enough with somecat. He is a good humored cat who doesn't skip a beat and reads the Den almost supernaturally. Although Cloverwood isn't without his snarky mood or cloudy days, he is a knightly father figure of a cat who puts selflessness and love before all.

Duties

A dutiful, passionate medicine cat with the knowledge and demeanor of an old soul. He has single-pawingly discovered flora long hidden beneath the layers of the ever-falling leaves. There is not a single herb, flower, tree, pollen, sap, or animal that he cannot identify. Oftentimes he is the advisor of the leader and the one the Clan looks to for advice. He takes his role as prophecy interpretor deathly serious, taking no chances and obsessing over their meanings thoughtfully.

The Den of Cloverwood

Cloverwood appreciates all forms of life and pleasures but he has his favorites, of course.

He is obsessed with the scent and juice of apples. He will pick the red lovelies straight off the tree and tuck them in his Den to keep the scent trapped for weeks. He punctures small holes in the fruit with his teeth and laps at the juices that form droplets around the wounds.

Cloverwood enjoys watching the woodland animals scurry by during the early morning. He has a particular fondness of red squirrels and woodpeckers. It is ever rare to spot a woodpecker and Cloverwood is always keeping his eyes peeled to catch a rare glimpse. He has special claw marks etched into his den to signify such a happenstance. There are currently four claw marks!
